Structured cover

Leveraging an internal molded fiber structure we are able to achieve a rounded form using low cost SBS and simple folding panels. This approach creates an iconic presence on shelf while reducing packaging cost and complexity.

Simplified unboxing

The outer cover is used to seal the top of the package creating generous purchase to open the box. This integration creates a simplified appearance while reducing steps in pack out and overall part count bringing down packaging cost.

Sled construction

The core of the packaging is a single piece molded fiber tray that slides from the folded outer carton. This creates an easy one step unboxing experience that creates an organized display of each component.

Tactile detail

Pushing the limit on de-bossing SBS we created a dimensional ripple on the outer surface of the packaging to bring tactility to graphic gesture. This detail was integrated into an existing de-boss step on the package reducing the cost impact.

Considered details

All aspects of the packaging were designed in house giving us full control of every surface and detail within the molded components. We used this as an opportunity for deeper communication during the unboxing.

Graphic layout

When fully assembled the accessories are covered with collateral guiding the focus to the premium touch points of the product while allowing for a striking visual layout.

User driven collateral

Using insights from user testing we created collateral to spotlight key experience points of the product to ensure users knew core functionality even if they skipped reading the instructions.
